A brilliant find not far from Hoar Cross Spa. Located in beautiful countryside you are greeted by a large open car park area that is free to park in. The cafe serves one of the best breakfasts I’ve had (this is slightly reflected in the price) but you can see where your money goes in the quality of the food. The cafe is light with large windows looking out into the park.
There is a farm shop inside the building and a shop upstairs, with a range of items you would expect to see from mugs and candles through to paintings and furniture. There is a disability lift to allow easy access upstairs which is great.
There is also a large deer park and a woodlands walk, to walk off the delicious breakfast. Staff were lovely and I highly recommend a visit.
Destination venue set in beautiful countryside with forest walk, restaurant, patio, farm shop dogs welcome in outside areas but not in restaurant and shop. Doggy feed and accessories. Available for events and parties.
Nice, but muddy walk in the woods, wellies definitely recommend.
No sign of any deer anywhere unfortunately, despite regular signs pointing the correct directions to see them, so a bit of a misnomer really and we met others who had gone for a walk to see them and were equally disappointed.
Cafe/ restaurant on site definitely made up for the lack of deer though. Lovely coffee and cake.
Gifts and butcher shops on site worth a visit too.
What a wonderful place. The food was absolutely wonderful, wild mushroom toast was the best thing that left me craving for more. Service is so warm and friendly. Beautiful location you can go for a walk and see some deers and alpacas I heard!
Went for first time today and what a fabulous place. Enjoyed their woodland walk, followed by great coffee and genuine home made scones in the very attractive and comfortable cafe, which has lovely indoor & outdoor seating. Afew very tasteful shops there also. Well worth a visit. Plus very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be going back.
We went a walk through the woodland, it was nice and cool even on a hot day and beautiful trees to look at. The bluebells were amazing too. We had a great time. There is a cafe too!
Afterwards, we got drinks from the shop and they were a reasonable price, the shop has a few different gluten free bits and bobs too.
We recently hired the reasonably priced private function room for a small Birthday party. The panoramic view from the room is beautiful, looking across open countryside and of course the Deer Park. We chose afternoon tea, which was delicious, with a freshly prepared selection of sandwiches , and delicious freshly made cakes. Excellent Service with a lovely smile from Wendy and her colleagues . Well worth a visit. Thank you.
Our experience was marred by flies. What should have been a lovely special celebration was spoilt by having to constantly flap our food due to 5 or 6 flies on the wall behind our table dive bombing our food. Politely brought this to the attention of the owner/manager after the event so that they could take action perhaps by spraying the wall to prevent other customers having a similar bad experience and received no acknowledgement or apology. Customer service from the top was non existent. Will not b returning
